Geddoe's probably the best bet. I trust him the most. Though, Sierra does have the most experience. I should ask her too.

I trust Bishop Sasarai, but… [Trails off, looking at his Rune] I'm not sure how much to trust him.

[Thinks about Jeane's words for a moment, then nods to himself] How do those changes happen?

I'm sure they would be able to teach you what you need. And despite Sierra's somewhat more wily ways, she has a wisdom that even I'm jealous of.

[Knows of Sasarai's precision and concentration that prevents collateral damage with such runes as Fire, but respects Hugo's hesitation.]

Being able to bear a third rune can come from practice sometimes. The more one trains, the confidence and mental strength could develop to allow it.

Hard to imagine that. [Smiles] She certainly doesnt' seem to be as old as she is.

Well, I have enough time on my hands to train.

Tee hee. Oh, she'll just love to hear you say that. Believe me.

Remember that even training your physical body will help. It can take longer doing it that way, but not impossible. Of course, using your rune is the fastest method.

But it's true. She's like, fifteen forever. Oh, wait you meant… never mind.

It's not like I'm going to stop using my dagger and training with it. I want to be a better mage, but I don't think I'm willing to take up a staff or ring. No offense to those who do use those, but I don't know if I could.

For those of us who have to use such weapons, it's mainly due to our lack of physical prowess. [Embarrassed laugh. She was never one for combat of that sort so admitting it wasn't too hard.] That's something you're blessed with and should feel proud of it, honestly. [Although, she's positive he already very much is.]

Oh, I thought those weapons were magic boosters or something. [Gives an embarrassed laugh as well]

They can be. With the right... tinkering. [Mystery smile.] Myself though? Not so much.

[Gets up to properly see him out. She would need to tend to some inventory as well anyway.] It's no problem at all, Hugo. Again, if you ever have anymore questions, don't hesitate to come ask me.
