Remember that even training your physical body will help. It can take longer doing it that way, but not impossible. Of course, using your rune is the fastest method.

It's not like I'm going to stop using my dagger and training with it. I want to be a better mage, but I don't think I'm willing to take up a staff or ring. No offense to those who do use those, but I don't know if I could.

For those of us who have to use such weapons, it's mainly due to our lack of physical prowess. [Embarrassed laugh. She was never one for combat of that sort so admitting it wasn't too hard.] That's something you're blessed with and should feel proud of it, honestly.
